IFT Whitecell Engineering GmbH is a leading provider in the field of durability, wear, functional, and environmental testing for combustion engines, fuel cells, electric motors, and drivetrains. Our Service Portfolio

With our expertise in testing and development of drive systems, we offer precise solutions for sustainable mobility. Our modern test bench technologies enable tests from durability and wear to environmental testing and functional analysis – quickly and flexibly implemented through our comprehensive infrastructure.

Component, Strength Testing & Friction

Our modular test benches enable testing under realistic conditions – from temperature cycles and oil foaming to wear measurement using radionuclide technology (RNT). Strength testing up to 100 kN as well as friction and tribology analyses complete our portfolio.

High-Dynamic Systems

With drives up to 600 kW and extreme gradients, we simulate real dynamic loads. Ideal for function and endurance tests under vibration influences – also in conjunction with fired engines.

Drivetrain & Engine Testing

For complete drivetrain tests, engine and drivetrain test benches with up to 2,250 Nm/wheel are available. Validation, calibration, and emission analysis included.

Environmental & Durability Testing

Climate chambers up to 200°C, mechanical shocks, and humidity up to 100%: We test under extreme conditions – according to standards like LV124/VW80000 or in custom scenarios.

Material & Component Analysis

From hardness testing to crack analysis: Our laboratory examines materials on both micro and macro levels. Geometric measurements in a precision measurement room and component documentation in the photo lab are carried out using state-of-the-art technology. We apply measurement systems and strain gauges (SGs) according to your specifications and in consultation.

Engineering & Functional Analysis

Whether timing chains, actuators, or hydrogen systems: Our engineers analyze, develop, and optimize components holistically – for maximum performance and longevity.
